-
Would you like to learn more about how decisions are made at our school?
-
Would you like an opportunity to provide input and feedback on these decisions?
-
Do you want to learn more about the way SAP fits into and is affected by plans for the broader school district and community?
-
Do you want a chance to connect with other parents and work on improving our school for ALL students?
Advisory Council is the place for you!
Saint Anthony Park Elementary School’s Advisory Council is a group of interested parents, guardians, teachers, and community members that meets with Dr. Duke once a month to hear an update on issues related to curriculum, staffing, budget, and extracurricular activities, to name a few. The Advisory Council has the opportunity to provide feedback, ask questions, and shape priorities for the school. The Council is also committed to strengthening SAP’s representation on various district-wide parent advisory councils.
Join the Advisory Council to help us think creatively and critically about how we can meet the unique challenges posed since the pandemic to ensure that ALL students, families, and staff at SAP feel supported. Anyone is welcome to join and there is no formal commitment or election process. We are hoping for broad representation this year so we can be sure to consider the needs of every Wolf Pack family.
To be added to the mailing list and receive updates about meeting dates/times and agenda items, please email advisory@sapsamn.org.
The Advisory Council normally meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 5:30. Meetings are held in the school library, with an option to join remotely via Zoom.
