I hope everyone had a tasty Thanksgiving! This week, we have the first glimpse of our mascot, and a couple of opportunities to volunteer for SAP.
Upcoming Events
Friday, December 13 - Family Friday (coffee in cafeteria after drop-off)
Saturday, December 14 - School Choice Fair (more info below)
Note: There will be no advisory council or SAPSA board meeting in December
Our Mascot Has Arrived!
St. Anthony Park Elementary's Wolf Pack mascot made a surprise visit to a school spirit day rally recently. The mascot, sponsored by SAPSA, will soon have a name. Who knows where this wolf will appear next?
School Choice Fair
We still need a couple of volunteers to promote SAP at the St. Paul Public School Choice Fair. The fair takes place Saturday December 14th, from 9:30 am - 2 pm at the Saint Paul RiverCentre, 150 4th St W, St Paul, MN 55102.
Bobbie Evangelist and school staff will be answering questions from prospective students and families. Hearing firsthand from current families is meaningful to prospective families considering our school. If available to share your reasons for choosing St Anthony Park Elementary School, please sign up for a shift from 9:30 am - 11:30 am or 11:30 am - 1:30 pm.
Thank you in advance for helping to grow our awesome school community!
SAP Tours
Yes you can be a tour guide!
Please share your passion for our community at St. Anthony Park Elementary by giving school tours to prospective SAP Families. Sign up HERE. A quick overview and welcome packet will be given to your prior to the first tour.
Wolf Ridge Calendars
Wolf Ridge Calendars are now available to order!
The calendars feature Northern MN Wildlife Photography and are a Fundraiser for the 5th Grade Trip to Wolf Ridge Environmental Education Center at the end of the school year. Calendars will delivered later this month & then sent home with your student.
Calendars are $20 and can be purchased via cash, check, or Square Link. Ask your student's teacher if you need an order form.
Thank You For Your Generosity!
SAPSA has received two grants this fall. One is from the St Paul and Minnesota Foundation, and the other is from the R.F. Bigelow Foundation. We are grateful to these excellent foundations for their support.
Thanks everyone who attended the Zero Gravity night! We raised over $700 at that event! Also, Fable clothing company cut us a check for $600 for the proceeds from the kid-created t-shirts that were created and sold last year. And we raised $300 from the last dine out at Mims cafe. Thanks to everyone who worked at writing grants and organizing these fundraising activities!
Library Helper
Mr. Watson, our Library and Materials Management EA, would greatly appreciate help with reshelving books for an hour on Monday, Thursday or Friday mornings.
