This is a fun way to meet other families. Coffee and treats are provided by parents/guardians like yourself. If you are able to join us Friday, please consider signing up to help or to bring an item to share HERE.
Fall Festival Committee Leads!
We're still looking for people to lead Haunted House and Bake Sale efforts for the Fall Festival. If you can help coordinate either of these activities, please email Joanna Justiniano at volunteercoordinator@sapsamn.org
Huge thanks to the other leads who have volunteered! We'll share more opportunities for everyone to pitch in as the event nears. We depend on our community to make these events happen - they are fun and also raise money to support all of our students!
To check out other positions and join a planning committee for the MANY different fundraising and community events happening this school year, visit the sign up page HERE.
Great Gatherings
Before the pandemic, the school used to have events called "Great Gatherings," and we're bringing them back this year! These events are hosted by teachers, parents, or other members of the community. Money raised is donated to SAPSA to support the school!
How does this work? Families, staff, and other community members host an event, pick a date, and we sell tickets to the SAP community.
Do you have a skill that you could teach? Are you a great cook? Do you knit or sew? Do you throw a great party (kid or adult)? Some Great Gatherings that have been hosted in the past include: a pizza party, an art project for kids or adults, a fancy dinner, a wine tasting, a yoga class, a backyard movie or bonfire, an Amazing Race-style contest, ice skating and hot cocoa, parents’ night out, and so many more! The only limit is your talent and imagination! You decide how many people you would like to host, what ages, where, when, and what, and then donate your time and energy! Feel free to team up with a friend to host an event.
This is a wonderful fundraiser that not only raises money for SAPSA, but also builds community!
If hosting isn't up your alley, you’ll be able to purchase tickets to attend some Great Gatherings. The events happen throughout the year and are so much fun for the whole family.
Interested? Yay! Thank you! Please complete this form.
Please contact Kerrin Flanagan at kerrinflanagan@gmail.com if you have any questions.
Grant Writing Team
SAPSA is putting together our grant writing team for this school year! We have a couple of wonderful volunteers already, and if grant writing is in your wheelhouse, please join our team! Also, we are looking for leads on any grants that may apply to our school. Do you know of any groups or large companies that offer grants? Please contact JoAnna Justiniano at volunteercoordinator@sapsamn.org if you interested in helping or have information on specific grants.
